NATO's first Innovation Range event in Finland
Riihimäki and Räyskälä airfield, 8 to 10 December 2025. We built and ran the AI, data, connectivity environment for the whole event.
The mandate
DEFINE was selected by NATO Allied Land Command and NATO's D2IA Division to organise and host the NATO Innovation Range Technical Demonstration for the Eastern Flank Deterrence Line. We were responsible for the complete AI, data, connectivity environment. Not a participation slot.
What we deployed

Results
Senior officials present included Deputy Chief of Staff at NATO Allied Land Command, Director General at Finnish Ministry of Defence and FDF AI Centre of Excellence.
What it proved
A sovereign stack can carry an entire multinational demonstration. Every participating company connected through one identity fabric, onto one data fabric, without the platform going down for any of the three days.
Companies with no prior NATO exposure reached C2 in days, not the years a conventional programme would take. That gap, between what a company can build and what actually reaches a command system, is the gap we are built to close.
The hard part was never the demonstration itself. It is what happens after everyone goes home, which is why we measure ourselves on what runs between exercises, not just during them.
