Who we are
Short history
We were founded to close the gap between what defence technology companies build and what actually reaches a command system. We grew through the DEFINE consortium, a paid commercial pilot with the Finnish Defence Forces in 2025, the first NATO Innovation Range event in Finland that December, then Crucible 2-26 in June 2026, which scaled the same platform across four live nodes.
The thesis
Military AI capability cannot be procured off the shelf. It has to be grown inside a force through continuous operation. Capability that only appears during an exercise decays the moment the exercise ends.
We own the corridor through which external capability reaches NATO C2. That is an architectural position, not a product feature. It makes us a load bearing part of the operating picture rather than one more supplier in a queue.
We sit in the horizontal middle layer between sensors, compute and the systems commanders actually use. Aiven occupies a structurally similar position in commercial data. We sit one level higher in value: reasoning, RAG grounding, agentic orchestration and C2 output all live inside the same layer. We own the pipe and the intelligence moving through it.
