IAM RAIN

Sovereign by construction

Where it runs

The platform runs on sovereign EU compute. SpaceTime provides sovereign object storage. ConfidentialMind provides sovereign inference.

Deployment models

Deployment models and where each applies
Model Description Use case
Sovereign cloud Hosted in EU sovereign compute Standing operations, accelerator cohorts
Edge node Kubernetes at the tactical edge Forward operating, exercise sites
Air gapped Fully disconnected deployment Classified or denied environments
Hybrid Edge nodes syncing to a sovereign hub The normal Eastern Flank pattern

We have run the hybrid model live: four edge nodes (Riihimäki as the C2 hub, plus Joensuu, Oulu and Turku) connected into one multi-cell operational picture over 5G and NTN links during ten days of continuous operations in June 2026.

Degraded and contested operation

Under contested or jammed links, edge nodes queue data locally and reconcile once the link returns rather than losing it. Under GPS denial, positioning degrades gracefully instead of taking the whole picture down with it. The platform is built so that a jammed or intermittent link slows the picture, it does not blind it.

Data control

Data stays on sovereign EU compute. Nothing leaves that boundary as a default. Air gapped deployment is available for classified or fully denied environments. Retention and deletion follow the terms agreed with each customer, stated plainly rather than buried in a configuration file.

Riihimäki

The DEFINE AI Lab is operational in Riihimäki. Finland has confirmed a NATO Deployable CIS Module will be established there by early 2027, with 60 specialised jobs. We expect it to be operational alongside our platform in the same period.
